071 - 075 : My beloved nephews with the Panther. These pictures really tell how big the tank is.
See how happy the kids are with this tank!. My eldest nephew (now 9 years old) said he wants
to grow up to be a soldier. Well, he may become a tank commander.
Detailed Information : Length = 113 cm; Width = 42 cm.; Height =37.5 cm; Weight = 27 kgs
(without battery); Body = Fibre-glass; Tracks = Metal; Wheels = Duraluminium;
Gearbox = Industrial Standard; Motors = 2 Electric Motors; Servos = 2 Servo/Motor for
turning turret and lifting barrel; Lights = 2 Headlights; R/C = Futaba 4WD, Battery = 7A12V.
Future Improvement Plan for the Panther:
1. Install Tamiya's Sound Processor Set (MF-01) so as to have Maybach engine's sound.
2. Modify the main gun to be able to fire 5.56mm bullets (well, I mean 6mm BB pellets ;-) ).
3. Scratch-build and install MG gun and its rail on the cupola, and add other details.
4. Touching-up by "Art Instructor". This will include zimmerritting and re-painting.
Update : 12 May 2001 My brother managed to install Tamiya's Sound Processor Set using just one mini-relay for car
(Bosch 12V). So now my Panther is not only big in size, but also big in sound!. Just like the real thing, it possesses
the sound of the Maybach engine (which Tamiya recorded from the real, running tank in a museum).
I could take only this picture, after that there was not enough sunlight. More later...

อัพเดท : วันที่ 12 พฤษภาคม 2544 น้องชายของผม สามารถติดตั้งชุดเสียงของทามิยะ เข้ากับรถถังแพนเธ่อร์ได้แล้ว โดยการใช้มินิรีเลย์เพียง 1 ตัว
เท่านั้น (ยี่ห้อ Bosch ขนาด 12V) ทำให้แพนเธ่อร์ มีเสียงเครื่องยนต์เมย์บัค เหมือนของจริงทุกประการ เพราะทามิยะไปอัดเสียงรถถังของจริง
