25 December 2007 : Today I proudly present Model Maniac Page 40 - Part A, just in time to celebrate Christmas and New Year. So, Season's Greetings to all!, I wish you the very best for the coming New Year 2008 and beyond that. This is the 32th Part introduced in this year which almost doubles that of last year! (2006's total was 17 Parts). The reason is that this year I have two more modelers working for me. My problem is display space which I'll probably run out of some time next year, and next year is coming...
In this Part, "Art Instructor" presents six new armors and a new diorama. Starting from BMP-3 Export Version newly-released from UM, British Centaur C.S. Mk.IV from Tamiya, followed by Sd.Kfz.11 Munitionschlepper from Maquette, Sd.Kfz.2 KettenKrad w/ Puppchen from Dragon, German 38(H) Artillery Observation Vehicle from Trumpeter and the Waffentrager newly-released from ALAN, then topping if off with Diorama "German Africa Corps" using Dragon's DAK Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.F1 + Tri Star's German Tropical Panzer Crew. And same as the last dozen Parts, all pictures in this Part were taken using "time exposure" technique so as to achieve highest depth of field, i.e., using a tripod, setting shutter priority and selecting shutter speed that gives the highest f-stop (f19-f22) which is usually around 1/4 second, and setting self timer shutter release. Lighting is natural, pictures were taken outdoor under the shades during daytime, preferably between 8-9AM or 4-5PM. Pictures were scanned directly from film by the photo shop, written on to a CD and resized by me. As always, I hope you'll enjoy viewing!
